POST TREATMENT OF TATT00 REMOVAL

For the next 3 days, after cleansing and while skin is still moist, apply a thin layer of Aquaphor ointment to the treated tattoo.

 

Blisters may appear; especially after tattoo removal treatment. Don’t pop them, keep the area moist by applying Aquaphor 3 times per day or antibiotic ointment per  the recommendation of the physician.

 

Exercise is usually safe after a laser tattoo removal as long as you care for the treated area.

 

Avoid self-tanners, bronzers, and spray tans for 4 to 6 weeks after laser tattoo removal.

Q-switch Laser Post-Treatment Care:

(A higher level of medical care)

 

After the treatment; the area may feel like a mild sunburn, For the first 24 hours following your laser tattoo removal session a cold compress can be applied.

 

Light scabbing or peeling is common. Don’t scrape your skin.

 

Do not use any of the following products on the treated area 3 days after  the treatment : make-up, harsh exfoliating cleansers, or scrubs, bleaching creams or Retinoids (Retin-A).

 

Avoid direct prolonged sun exposure 2 weeks after treatment on the treated area.

 

Apply your sunscreen of at least 30 SPF or higher every 2 hours to prevent post-procedure side effects if exposed to the sun.

 

Apply your Post-Treatment Recovery Complex 2-4 times a day for at least 4 days after each treatment to soothe the skin and speed up the recovery process.

 

Cleanse the area with tepid water and pat dry.

Avoid extremities of heat such as hot showers, hot tubs, and saunas for 72 hours after treatment.
